What We Do

Home 9 What We Do
The Ventura County Library Foundation supports the Ventura County Library System’s vital role as a center for lifelong learning, opportunity, and community connection. Our work begins with early literacy, ensuring that every child has access to high-quality programs and materials that cultivate a solid foundation for learning and future success.

The Foundation supports school-age success by funding educational programs, homework help, and enrichment opportunities that inspire academic achievement and a lifelong love of learning.

We promote learning for life through diverse cultural, informational, and technology-based initiatives, including our Career Online High School program, which helps individuals of all ages discover new interests, gain new skills, and reach their full potential.

With an eye toward sustainability and innovation, we are committed to building for the future, supporting vibrant library spaces, expanding collections and services, and investing in the tools and resources that will serve Ventura County for generations to come.
