Financial Transparency

The Ventura County Library Foundation is classified as a California public benefit corporation and is exempt from federal income taxes and California franchise taxes under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code and corresponding California Revenue and Taxation code sections.

This designation allows private support through gifts, corporate sponsorships, trusts and bequests for the benefit of Ventura County Libraries.

The Ventura County Library Foundation is committed to transparency, accountability, and the responsible stewardship of all resources entrusted to us. We proudly share our financial records to ensure our donors, partners, and supporters have full confidence in how their contributions are used.
