GROWING MINDS COUNTYWIDE

Leave a Legacy

Home 9 Leave a Legacy

One of the most meaningful aspects of making a planned gift is knowing that your generosity will shape lives for generations to come. Through your legacy, children and adults throughout Ventura County will continue to learn, grow, and thrive.

Libraries are a cornerstone of our shared experience. Many of us remember them from childhood as welcoming places filled with stories and possibility. We proudly introduce them to the children in our lives, and as adults, we rely on them to explore new ideas, develop skills, and better understand the world around us.

Thanks to the generosity of individuals and families, the Ventura County Library Foundation helps support the Ventura County Library System by bringing the power of literacy and lifelong learning to more than 800,000 children and adults each year. Private gifts allow librarians to extend their impact beyond library walls, advancing literacy and enrichment opportunities for learners of all ages.

The Foundation partners closely with Ventura County Library staff to identify opportunities where private funding can expand and enhance services. These gifts make possible access to quality services, materials, and programming for children and adults across the county.

The Ventura County Library Foundation is the nonprofit organization designated to receive bequests and other planned gifts in support of Ventura County Library. By naming the Foundation as a beneficiary, you can help ensure the continued strength of our libraries while, in some cases, receiving valuable tax benefits.

Your legacy can help keep the doors of opportunity open today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.
